We understand the intricacies that separate our design phase of work & the on-site construction aspect. While we work closely with the Owner and manager's to better ensure a smooth transition to start of construction, there invariably are risks that are to be expected.
On one of our larger industrial projects, the on-site CM provided a site survey that relocated a few assumptions the design team had. On the design side, we were able to adjust our drawings to better accommodate the construction team's utilities and service areas to save time & costs in the long run. We appreciate the close involvement on all points of the triangle.

In celebration of International Students day, we want to thank our previous interns who've helped us and our projects along the way. As a team comprised of and directly related to international people of all shapes & sizes, we understand the challenges and rewards of being international!
If you're looking for work, and interested in practicing with our architecture studio, please send resume & contact info! And we're in for permit! Commercial tenant improvements while straightforward often have permit complexities such as submitting to 3 different main departments with sub-disciplines under their purview. This could include Building and engineering, Planning and Zoning, and Environmental Health & Health Dept.
Wish us luck as we push through the permit process during the holidays, which are typically known for the vacation absences on all sides of the table. |
