Today we reflect back on 2022 while looking forward to 2023. Here at MzzK Architects, we've been thinking of all the many lessons learned & many great people met. A portion of our office communal brainpower is reserved for improvement of our craft and ourselves. A few goals our firm is proud of include establishing a foothold on our online presence better, removing disproportionate crutches, increasing our portfolio of projects from 14 acre light industrial to 84 SF tiny homes, and building rewarding relationships with all around.
We often tell our clients we're a scrappy young firm that's eager to get involved. We hope that we've conveyed that in every move we make, and moving forward into the new year, we can continue to get that drive to improve on all fronts of life. #smallfirm #smallfirmbigprojects #mzzkarchitects #architecture #drawings #permits #HappyNYE

This week has been not-so-surprisingly busy. We anticipated a push for the 2022 code cycle update, but we had to pivot to accommodate once dormant projects sprinting into the final week of 2022. Luckily we spoke with some great Planning & Building department representatives that were full of holiday spirit, and helped answer any last minute formalities with online permitting. We likely thanked you for your help throughout the year, but if you didn't get the message, we appreciate everyone's involvement in helping our clients & MzzK Architects success.
Happy holidays, and hope everyone is enjoying their time with family. We're back in the office crossing our T's and dotting our lower case J's. We have a few exciting announcements for 2023 coming soon, and look forward to sharing them with you!
2023 is ALMOST upon us, and there is a distinct crunch in the air! This crunch may translate to delays in the permitting departments in all cities. Each authority having jurisdiction works in its own unique way with its own unique people. To add to the crunch, all building codes are being updated to the 2023 cycle.
